Is this the end after 50 years?

The only bar and eatery located on Benidorm's famous Peacock Island has been visited by thousands of tourists over the last 50 years.  However, the establishment is now under threat of closure due to an issue regarding the premises license.

The bar is a fixed structure that is now situated on preserved land, however legislation states that any structure placed in this area should not be permanent but removable.

It has been reported the local Town Hall does not have any record of the license of the business, a business that has been trading for many years, and are not permitting a new license.  The owner disputes this and alleges the bar does have a license, however they do not have a copy of the documentation from 50 years ago.  The bar faces closure and the establishment being demolished.
